In short: Swipe Cleaner works without an account. Your photos and videos are read and sorted on your phone and are never uploaded: not to us, not to anyone. To run and improve the app, we use app usage statistics and crash reports, which you can turn off in the app's settings, and a subscription provider to manage Swipe Cleaner Pro.
1. Data controller
Swipe Cleaner is operated by Ads Station Ltd, 152, Office 9, Triq In Naxxar, San Gwann, SGN 9030, Malta. Ads Station Ltd is the controller responsible for the processing described in this policy.

2. Your photos and videos
Swipe Cleaner asks for access to your photo library so that it can show you your photos and videos, group them (for example screenshots and large videos) and delete the ones you choose. You can give access to your whole library or only to a selection of photos, and change this at any time in your device settings.
All of this happens on your device. Your photos, videos, their content, file names, locations and other metadata are never sent to our servers or to our service providers, and the app does not make copies of them.
Swipe Cleaner deletes an item only after you have reviewed your list and confirmed the deletion in the dialog shown by your phone. Deleted items go to Recently Deleted (iPhone) or to the trash of your gallery (Android), where your phone keeps them for a limited time.
Your sorting progress, your review list and your settings are stored on your device only. They are removed when you delete the app.
3. Information we process
Swipe Cleaner does not ask you to create an account and does not collect your name, email address, contacts or location.
Usage statistics
When the option "Share anonymous usage data" is on in the app's settings, the app sends usage events to Google Analytics for Firebase: for example that onboarding was completed, which screen or type of collection was opened, whether photo access was granted, the approximate number of items deleted (as a range) and whether the subscription screen was shown. These events never include your photos, file names or the content of your library. They are linked to an app instance identifier and, on Android, may include your device's advertising ID, together with device and app information such as model, operating system, app version, language and approximate country. We use this information to understand how the app is used, to improve it and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. We do not use it to show you personalised advertising, and the app contains no ads.
You can turn usage statistics off at any time in the app's settings.
Crash reports
If the app crashes or meets an error, Firebase Crashlytics receives a technical report: the state of the app at that moment, device model, operating system, app version and an installation identifier. File paths and photo identifiers are removed from these reports before they are sent.
Subscription information
Apple App Store or Google Play processes your payment. Our subscription management provider receives limited transaction information linked to an anonymous identifier, such as the product purchased, the subscription status and its renewal or expiry date. It also receives the app instance identifier used by Firebase, so that purchases can be counted in our usage statistics. We do not receive your full card details.
Support data
If you contact us, we process your name, email address, message and any details you choose to provide, such as your phone model or app version.
This website
This website does not use cookies or analytics tools. As with any website, the hosting provider may record technical logs, such as IP address, date and time, pages requested and browser type, for security and operation. The contact form opens your own email app: nothing is sent to us until you send the email.
4. Why we use information
Depending on the context and applicable law, we process information to:
- provide Swipe Cleaner Pro and confirm your subscription;
- understand how the app is used and improve it;
- detect, investigate and fix crashes and errors;
- measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns;
- respond to support, privacy and legal requests; and
- comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
Our legal bases may include performance of a contract, consent, compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the service.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Retention and security
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to provide the service, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. In particular:
- we never hold your photos or videos, so there is nothing of them to retain;
- usage statistics and crash reports are kept for a limited period set in our Firebase settings;
- subscription records are kept for as long as needed to manage your subscription and our accounts;
- your sorting progress, review list and settings remain on your device until you delete the app.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security, so please protect your device.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and complain to a competent data protection authority.
Send a request to contact@swipepics.com. Because Swipe Cleaner works without an account, we may hold very little that can be linked to you, and we may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You can turn usage statistics off in the app's settings and manage photo access in your device settings at any time.
8. Children
Swipe Cleaner is not intended for children below the minimum age required to consent to digital services in their country. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to Swipe Cleaner, our providers or legal requirements. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
